Victorian Devil Charm in 18k

A black glass Victorian button with the image of a running devil, complete with trident spear and a perky forked tail, mounted as a pendant in 18k gold. This has the look of an Elizabeth Locke piece, and may have been a brooch or cufflink at one time, but we acquired it in it's present form. 

The matte texture of the gold is so luxe against the inky black; perfect pendant for the artistic rebel. The idea of the devil has long been associated with free and creative thinking; the inspiration that comes from outside the norm and moves towards its own unique outlet.

Details: Measuring a hair shy of 1" in diameter, marked for 18k on the back. Weighs approximately 7.8 grams.

Condition: In excellent antique condition with some light dimpling and a florentine finish on the back.
